Manipulation Monday is a workshop session rooted in the fundamentals of Cyr movement. In this lesson students will learn different manipulations with the wheel to understand spin, spiral, and hybrid movement as well as linear and figure 8 patterns. These manipulations will become key elements within one’s cyr exploration and progressive journey. Vocabulary such as paddle, orbit, figure 8, large and small spiral, cartwheel and coin, womp and other various skills will be introduced. 

Whether this is your first day with wheel or you are a seasoned artist the art of manipulation is always preset within our cyr practice and we look forward to enhancing your manipulation movements.

Waltzing 101 workshop with Alli Spins! In this lesson students will lean fundamentals of the base movement in Cyr wheel often referred to as the “Waltz”. 

The “Waltz” is the starting grounds for all movement in the wheel. This session will give students the ability to wind up their cyr journey. For some that have already obtained their waltz, this class will focus on honing in this skill and mastering control. 

Through Waltz and basic step all other cyr techniques can be applied!
