Cai Circus Safety Policies & Studio Guidelines

Safety is paramount at Cai Circus. There is inherent risk in all physical activity, especially within the circus arts. While these risks can be minimized through proper training, coaching, and safety procedures, they cannot be completely eliminated.

All students, members, and guests are expected to follow all studio safety rules and staff instructions at all times. Failure to comply with these policies may result in dismissal from class or Open Gym, forfeiture of fees paid, and/or removal from the facility.

If you ever have questions about equipment, procedures, or studio policies, please ask a coach or staff member. There are no stupid questions when it comes to safety.

General Safety Policies

Cai Circus reserves the right to deny participation to any student or member due to injury, health concerns, unsafe behavior, intoxication, harassment, bullying, or failure to follow studio policies and instructor direction.

Students are permitted in the gym up to 10 minutes before class begins for warm-up and preparation.

Students may only use equipment during their scheduled class time, Open Gym session, or approved training period.

Reckless behavior, unsanctioned spotting, horseplay, or training beyond one’s skill level is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate dismissal.

Smoking, vaping, e-cigarettes, alcohol, or illicit drug use is strictly prohibited anywhere on Cai Circus property.

All students and members must maintain an up-to-date account and signed waiver prior to participating in classes, Open Gym, workshops, private lessons, or events.

New students should arrive at least 10 minutes early for check-in and orientation, or register ahead of time through our online registration system.

Students may register for classes online or through our mobile app.

Open Gym & Independent Training

Open Gym is intended for independent practice only and is not a coached class environment.

Coaching others, soliciting coaching, or teaching during Open Gym is prohibited unless previously approved by Cai Circus management. Anyone found coaching without authorization may be asked to leave without refund.

Certain training areas may be unavailable during classes, private lessons, rehearsals, or special events. Scheduled classes and studio programming always take priority over independent training.

Please check in with staff upon arrival regarding available training areas and equipment usage policies.

Late Policy

For safety reasons and to avoid disrupting class warm-ups and instruction, students arriving more than 10 minutes late will not be permitted to join class. Late arrivals are non-refundable.

Cai Circus reserves the right to cancel or modify classes, programs, instructors, or schedules due to insufficient enrollment or unforeseen circumstances. We will make every effort to notify participants in advance.

Students must meet the minimum age requirements for each class. Adult students may not attend youth classes, and youth students may not attend adult classes unless specifically approved by Cai Circus staff.

All classes, private lessons, workshops, memberships, parties, and events are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Cancellation Policy

Class and private lesson cancellations must be made at least 4 hours prior to the scheduled start time in order to receive account credit.

Unlimited membership holders who late cancel or fail to attend a reserved class may be subject to a late cancellation/no-show fee.

Workshop registrations are non-refundable.

Refund Policy

All sales are final. Cai Circus does not issue refunds back to credit cards. Approved credits will remain on the client account for future use.
