Open Gym at Cai Circus
Open Gym is designed for athletes and artists who wish to train independently in a safe and respectful environment. Available training areas include aerial spaces, mats, marley areas, stretching equipment, and floor training spaces depending on studio scheduling and staff approval.
Certain areas or apparatuses may be unavailable during classes, rehearsals, private lessons, events, or specialty programming.
All participants are expected to follow Cai Circus Safety Policies and staff instructions at all times. Cai Circus Safety Rules & Policies
Adult Open Gym (Ages 16+)
Adult Open Gym is available for students and experienced movers who are able to train safely and independently without instruction.
Participants should:
Have a general understanding of safe training practices
Train within their personal skill level
Ask staff for clarification if unsure about equipment or safety procedures
Cai Circus staff are present to supervise the space and enforce safety policies, but Open Gym is not a coached class environment.
Proof of age may be required for independent training access.
Youth Supervised Open Gym (Ages 10–15)
Supervised Open Gym is available to currently enrolled Cai Circus youth students who have received coach approval to train independently.
This training time is intended for students to safely practice skills they have already learned in class.
During Supervised Open Gym:
Staff members monitor the space for safety
No formal coaching or spotting is provided
Students must follow all Open Gym and studio safety rules
Students may only practice skills appropriate to their training level
Availability for Youth Open Gym may be limited to select days and times with increased staff supervision.
